At 14:00 pm local time on October 10, Kyrgyzstan Deputy Prime Minister Omurbekova met with President of Silk Road Peace Award Foundation and Director General of Beijing Peace Tour Cultural Exchange Center Shao Changchun at the Prime Minister's House of Kyrgyzstan. The two sides had in-depth discussions over the Silk Road Painting Exhibition in the Spirit of Peace, which would be attended by SCO member states and countries along the Silk Road during the SCO Summit next year.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the significant contribution and outstanding achievements of Beijing Peace Tour Cultural Exchange Center in people-to-people cooperation within the framework of SCO member states. Shao Changchun reported the scale of the painting exhibition next year and requirements for the paintings. Upon consent of the Deputy Prime Minister, the two sides reached consensus on the details of the exhibition. Finally, Deputy Prime Minister stated that the Kyrgyzstan government attaches great importance to and fully supports the exhibition, and believes that with the efforts of Peace Tour, the exhibition will be a complete success.
