Liu Shaokun, born in 1946, was graduated from the Fine Arts School Affiliated to China Central Academy of Fine Arts and Oil Painting Graduate Class of Yang Taiyang of the Guangxi Arts University.
He used to be the Director of the China Artists Association, Executive Director of the China Oil Painting Society, Chairman of the Guangxi Artists Association, etc. Now he serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Guangxi Artists Association.
He has held several solo exhibitions, and participated in large-scale national and international art exhibitions. He has also won several grand awards in national art exhibition.
His works has been collected by art institutions such as National Art Museum of China.
