On the afternoon of August 9, Shao Changchun, President of International Union of Artists for Peace, President of the Silk Road Peace Award Foundation, and Director General of Beijing Peace Tour Cultural Exchange Center, met with Mr. Parviz Davlatzoda, Tajikistan Ambassador in China. The two sides had in-depth discussion and reached consensus on matters including holding the “Silk Road Pearl” Dushanbe's Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow – International Painting Exhibition of Artists for Peace to be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s capital, at the end of October. Ambassador Parviz Davlatzoda said that this event will be of great significance to Tajikistan's international cultural exchanges. Tajikistan hopes to take this opportunity for the world know about Tajikistan and for Tajikistan to get to know the world, so as to promote international cultural exchange and boost mutual trust and closer ties.
