On June 19, 2017, Secretary General of the Peace Tour Ms. Zhai Runan met with Political Counselor of Tajikistan Embassy in China Mr. Sobirzoda Shukhrat at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in China. First, the Secretary General conveyed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of Director General Shao Changchun to Tajikistan Embassy in China, government of Tajikistan and President H.E. Rakhmon for their great support and warm reception during the “Silk Road Pearl” Dushanbe International Painting Exhibition of Artists for Peace held in Dushanbe in November 2016.
Mr. Sobirzoda Shukhrat expressed his sincere gratitude for the contribution of Peace Tour in promoting the mutual understanding of Tajikistan and other countries, and he fully affirmed and highly appreciated the influence of Peace Tour in the field of international art exchange and its capability. He also hoped that Peace Tour can offer more opportunities to Tajikistan for more exchange activities.
During the meeting, the two sides conducted cordial and friendly discussions on the next step of strengthening their cooperation in the field of art exchanges and culture, and determined on the next plan of cooperation.
