Zhang Fuxing, born in 1946 in Tianjin, is a researcher at the Research Institute of Culture and History of the Central Committee, painter of the Art Academy of International Friendly Contact, Honorary Vice President of the Guangxi Artists Association, Honorary President of the Guilin Painting Academy, first-class artist and the “Artist Excellent in Both Performing Skills and Moral Integrity” of Guangxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
He has been selected in major national art exhibitions 16 times, and won the Golden Fork Award of the First National Traditional Chinese Realistic Landscape Painting Exhibition, the Third Prize of the First National Chinese Painting Exhibition, Bronze Award of the First National Landscape Painting Exhibition, Golden Award of the World Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, and the Silver Award of theExhibition of 300 Outstanding Chinese Painting Artists and other awards. He has twice won the Bronze Drum Award, the highest award of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Literature and Art Creation.
