On July 19, 2017, Secretary General of Peace Tour Ms. Zhai Runan and Hu Xianjing, a master in making violins, met with Ukrainian Ambassador to China Mr. Oleg Dyomin. The two parties discussed on the “Peace and Friendship” China-Ukraine Painting Exhibition - Celebration for the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China to be held on September 28 at Kiev, Ukraine, as well as relevant issues including inviting President Poroshenko to write a preface for the album of the event.
Ambassador Oleg Dyomin said that he thanks Peace Tour for their efforts and contribution to the art exchange between China and Ukraine, and that the Embassy will give full support to this event.
During the meeting, Mr. Hu Xianjing and his students showcased a hand-made violin that will be donated to the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music during the event in Ukraine, for which Ambassador Dyomin and Minister-Counselor Mr. Victor Ponomariov expressed their full affirmation and high appreciation.
